Faces Of Meth

We all know Meth is a dangerous drug. It can change a person’s entire life (for the worse) very quickly. What does meth look like? This:

Drugfree.org has a site up showing before and after pictures of 12 different people addicted to meth. It features their first arrest photo, followed by a second arrest photo and the time elapsed in between. Some have a few years between, some only a few months.

It’s scary to look at the progression and change this addiction has on their lives. Scarier to think it could happen to anyone.

I have known people personally addicted to meth. You might too. If that’s the case, please take the time to talk to them about it. Help them seek treatment. Drugfree.org has all the resources they (you) need.

Deep down inside, they want and need your help.

You think that after several years now serving as poster children for meth addiction that maybe the people appearing in these pictures might want a chance to get on with their life?  Are you aware that most them had no idea that their pictures would be appearing all over the world FOREVER, even on joke sites?  Are you aware that they were basically duped into giving their permission to have their pictures used, and most of them were in no neurological or psychological condition to do so? And what about the ones with families and children?  Yes, addicts have families and children just like normal people,  Do you think it might be hard for a child to go to school when their parent is a “Face Of Meth”? If you want to see a far more intelligent approach to this issue, go to the All Positive Options site, and see their “Other Faces Of Meth,” which shows the reality and extent of the meth problem instead of parading cartoon versions of meth addicts on the screen. The people appearing in these “Faces Of Meth” pictures are as representative of your typical meth addict as the man laying in the gutter is representative of the typical alcoholic.  The problem is much deeper and profound than that.  Don’t take my word for it, just follow this link and you’ll see exactly what I mean. http://www.allpositiveoptions.com/APOMeth6aa.htm
