Splat Your Tat

Carlos Whittaker over at Ragamuffin Soul had a “Splat Your Tat” post up today showcasing people’s tattoo artwork. he was kind enough to add mine to his list, check it out:

I got this piece done by Religious Nick at Energy Tattoo in Santa Barbara, CA. It has my wife’s name and they almost wouldn’t do it because it had a name. They said they don’t want to cover it up later if anything happens…

Oh yeah, I passed out while I was having it done.

I don’t like needles.

I was all good after I woke up and I’m really happy with they way it turned out.

Anyone else have any cool tattoo stories?

Everytime I get a tattoo they have to stop midway through it and give me a coke or some kind of snack. My whole face goes pale and I start to get light headed. Luckily I have yet to pass out but trust me when I say that I have come extremely close. If they had ever tried to continue doing the tat without stopping I would have been on the floor.

One time I took a good friend of mine to get his first Tattoo in Sid’s Tattoo in Santa Anna Ca and he turned Pale, Pale white and almost passed out…I got him a soda, the he felt better.His Name Was John Blanchard, And His Mom Got Mad At ME!!
